Cancellation policy
1. Changing your appointment
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment. This gives enough time to offer the space to another client.
2. Late cancellation
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice incur a charge of 50% of the cancelled treatment cost.
3. Less than 24 hours or non-attendance
Failure to attend, or cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, requires the missed or cancelled appointment to be paid in full. A rescheduled appointment will also require full payment upfront.
4. Late arrival
If you arrive late, Ruby will do her best to accommodate you without delaying the next client. Your treatment may need to be shortened, changed or rescheduled. The original booking charge may still apply.
5. Illness and exceptional circumstances
Please do not attend if you are unwell or contagious. Contact the clinic as early as possible. Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered fairly and individually, but supporting information may be requested where repeated changes occur.
6. Clinic changes
On rare occasions, the clinic may need to change or cancel an appointment. You will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible and offered a new appointment or a refund of any amount paid for a service that cannot be provided. The clinic is not responsible for unrelated travel or other indirect costs, except where law requires otherwise.
7. Repeat non-attendance
If you miss consecutive appointments without notice, full payment upfront will be required for future appointments.
8. Courses and promotional bookings
Appointments included in a course or promotion are subject to the same notice period. A late-cancelled or missed session may be treated as used where this was made clear at purchase and is fair under consumer law.
9. How to cancel
Use the same contact method shown in your booking confirmation. A cancellation is effective when the clinic receives it; a social-media comment is not a reliable cancellation method.
