IPL uses controlled pulses of broad-spectrum light. Different settings and treatment heads may be selected depending on the concern, area and your individual suitability.
The menu includes Illumifacial, cosmetic acne and redness support, pigmentation and vessel treatments, selected leg vessels and fungal nail services. Ruby will confirm which option, if any, is appropriate after consultation and patch testing.

Before your appointment
- Complete the required consultation and patch test.
- Follow guidance about sun exposure, tanning and active products.
- Tell Ruby about medication, health or skin changes.
- Do not treat a new, changing or undiagnosed lesion as a cosmetic concern.
After your appointment
Temporary redness, warmth, darkening of pigmentation or other treatment-specific responses may occur. Written aftercare will explain products, heat, exercise and sun protection.
IPL is offered for selected cosmetic concerns only. New, changing, painful or persistent lesions should be assessed by an appropriate medical professional before cosmetic treatment is considered.
